HTML to TXT strips the tags from HTML and turns it into readable plain text that keeps its structure. Headings are marked with # signs, lists become bullets or numbers with nested indentation, quotes are prefixed with >, and horizontal rules turn into dashed lines. Choose pipe or tab separators for table rows, compact, standard or wide paragraph spacing, and whether to show link URLs in brackets after the link text. Scripts and styles are removed, images become [Image: alt] notes, and the text updates as you type. Copy it or download a .txt file; the HTML is processed in your browser.
