CSV to Excel turns comma-separated text or JSON records into a real .xlsx workbook. Switch between CSV input and JSON input, paste your data, and a preview table shows the header and first rows as they will appear in the sheet. You can set the worksheet name and the file name before pressing Export .xlsx. The first CSV row (or the JSON keys) becomes the header row, and short rows are padded so every column lines up. The workbook is generated with SheetJS on your device, so the data is never uploaded.
Choose the input
Select CSV input or JSON input, then paste your data over the sample.
Check the preview
The table preview shows the header and first rows. If a parsing error appears, fix the input before exporting.
Export the workbook
Enter a sheet name and a file name, then press Export .xlsx to download the spreadsheet.
Yes. Paste an array of objects or a single object and each key becomes a column. Nested objects and arrays are written into the cell as JSON text.
Cells are written as text, exactly as they appear in your input, which keeps leading zeros and long IDs intact. If you need to calculate with a column, select it in Excel and use Convert to Number.
The preview is limited to the first eight rows to stay fast. Every row is written to the exported file.
Excel does not allow characters such as / ? * : [ and ] in sheet names, or names longer than 31 characters. Those characters are replaced with spaces and long names are shortened automatically.
