HTML to DOCX turns pasted HTML into a Word document. The markup is sanitised first — scripts, styles, forms, frames and SVG are removed — and you can review the cleaned code next to a live preview. Headings h1 to h6 become Word heading styles, bullet and numbered lists keep up to three levels of nesting, blockquotes are indented and shaded, and horizontal rules become dividers. Table rows are written as text with | between cells, and images become [Image: alt] placeholders. Add an optional title, set the body font size and create the file, all inside your browser with no upload.
Paste the HTML
Paste markup into the HTML box. The live preview and Sanitized HTML pane show what will be converted.
Adjust the settings
Optionally add a title override and output name, and set the body font size from 10 to 16 pt.
Build the document
Press Create .docx, then Download .docx.
No. Paragraphs, headings and list items are written as plain text, so inline formatting and hyperlinks are not carried over. If you need them, convert the HTML with HTML ↔ Markdown, then use Markdown to DOCX.
The tool never fetches remote files, so pictures are not downloaded into the document. Each image becomes [Image: alt text] to show where to insert it in Word.
Yes. Scripts, styles, forms and embedded frames are stripped, and the Sanitized HTML pane shows exactly what will be converted. Trimming the HTML to the main article gives the cleanest result.
