TOML ↔ JSON converts TOML configuration files to JSON and turns JSON back into TOML. Tables become nested objects, arrays stay arrays, and TOML dates and times are written to JSON as ISO 8601 strings. You can pick 2- or 4-space indentation for the JSON output. Going from JSON, the top level must be an object, and nested objects are written as [section] tables. Parse errors appear in the output panel, and Reverse using output flips the direction with the current result. Your files are converted in the browser and never uploaded.

They become ISO 8601 strings in JSON, such as 2024-01-01T10:00:00.000Z. Converting that JSON back gives a quoted string rather than a TOML date.
TOML has no null value, so keys set to null in your JSON are left out.
The TOML writer needs every item in an array to be the same type, so a list such as [1, "a"] cannot be converted. Make the items all strings or all numbers and try again.
A TOML document is a set of keys and tables, so the JSON must be an object at the top level. A top-level array or single value is rejected.
