DOCX to TXT extracts the plain text from a Word document and saves it as a .txt file. Mammoth reads the .docx in your browser and pulls out the words paragraph by paragraph, ignoring fonts, styles, images and layout. You can then tidy the result: choose a standard double break, a compact single line break or wide spacing between paragraphs, and trim trailing spaces from every line. The output panel shows line and word counts plus any extraction messages, and the text can be copied or downloaded as UTF-8. Nothing is uploaded, so confidential documents stay on your device.
Open the document
Drop a .docx file on the drop area or choose it; the text is extracted at once.
Adjust the spacing
Pick Standard double break, Compact single line break or Wide section spacing, and keep Trim trailing spaces on for tidy lines.
Export the text
Press Copy text to use it straight away, or Download TXT to save a file.

Standard double break keeps a blank line between paragraphs and suits most uses. Compact single line break puts each paragraph on its own line, and Wide section spacing adds extra room for easier reading.
